Aesthetic Crush | Bicentennial Land

I came across this series of videos, which was created for Mexico's bicentennial celebration, and I absolutely fell in love.  This is some of the most stunning imagery I have seen in film.  Absolutely gorgeous.  I have watched them all several times.  Here are two of my favorite videos but it was so hard to choose... so I highly encourage you to visit the youtube channel to see them all!

I love this whole video but my favorite part is with the horse (minute 1:50).  Incredible.

Feeling inspired?  Me too.  :)  Have a great weekend!

Estes Park Wedding Photographer | Kimie & Dustin

After months of hearing about all the amazing details that Kimie was hand crafting for her wedding day I couldn’t wait to finally photograph it.  You may remember Kimie and Dustin from their engagement session I photographed last October, which was featured on the Colorado Wedding & Style blog.

Kimie and Dustin’s wedding day was… Enchanted.  And Kimie was one of the most blissful brides I’ve ever worked with.  She was positively glowing the whole day.

Congratulations Kimie & Dustin!

**Surprise for Dad** | Fort Collins Family Photographer

Agnieszka is a very dear friend and fellow photographer.  She moved to Fort Collins last fall with her husband, Tim, and little girl, Anya.  Before moving, she had been looking for local photographers to connect with and came across my site.  She sent me the most bubbly and sweet email asking if I’d like to meet up sometime.  I took a look at her business, A Brilliant Photo, and fell head over heals for her gorgeous work!  Then I knew I HAD to meet this fabulous photog whose name I had no idea how to pronounce ;)

A and I met at her new home for tea one afternoon and I felt as if I were talking to a long lost friend.  She has since become one of my closest friends and confidants.  I am soooooooo glad that she had the nerve to email a total stranger in hopes of making a connection.  Agnieszka – you’re awesome and I <3 you!

This spring, Agnieszka and I decided to swap photo shoots (yay!!!).  She shot all of my promo shots for the Moriah Riona rebrand, which you can see around my sites.  Yes, I know, she’s amazing!  So, when she told me that she was expecting her second child and wanted to surprise Tim during a photo shoot – I knew the pressure was on!  Haha. Oh my goodness... this was definitely one of my favorite (and most nerve wracking shoots) ever!  I was so nervous during the shoot – even more than a wedding!   I was really afraid that I was going to say something and accidentally give away the surprise.  But the session turned out soooooo well and I am so excited to finally share it with you!!

Agnieszka was pretty sneaky and just told Tim that we were doing a little family photo shoot.  He had no idea what she had in store for him!

Miss Anya!  I love this precious little girl!!

What a Daddy's Girl!

Ok, surprise time!  Aaaah I was sooooo nervous!  Haha... Agnieszka had me hand a book to Tim so he could read it to Anya.  It was entitled "I'm a Big Sister."  Tim actually skipped over the inscription Agnieszka had written on the front page and didn't quite get the surprise at first... She told him to go back and

take a look at her little message....

What a beautiful family with another little one on the way!!  Congrats!!!

Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer | Lisa & Darrick

Venue: The Pinery, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Wedding Gown: Danelle's Bridal

Hair and Make Up: Lindsay Mayfield

Videography: Peak Impact Productions

Lisa and Darrick were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family at The Pinery in Colorado Springs. This was my first time shooting at this wedding venue and I was very impressed. The Pinery actually handled most of their wedding day details including catering, the wedding cake, flowers and the DJ and I thought they did a lovely job!

Congratulations Lisa and Darrick!

My second shooter, Chad, did an awesome job capturing the men getting ready!

The First Look...

The bride wanted pictures with her dearest girlfriends - so sweet!

I know.... I already posted this picture as a sneak peek but I just had to share it again!

Thanks again to Chad for these great Groom and Groomsmen portraits!

Taking a moment to reflect before she walks down the aisle...

The new Mr. & Mrs.!!!

So many great details for their wedding day!

I really love the individual wedding cakes - it made for a beautiful display!

A very sweet Mother/Son dance...

I want to give a special shout out to another wedding vendor whom I got to work with on this wedding - Tom Pehrson, owner and videographer for Peak Impact Productions.  This was my first time working with a professional videographer and I was so impressed by Tom!  I highly recommend him to any brides and grooms wanting their own gorgeous wedding film!  Here is a sneak peak from Peak Impact Productions of Lisa and Darricks' big day:
